Research

The Office of Research and Graduate Education is responsible for supporting the administration of a sponsored research, training, and public service enterprise funded by more than $30 million in grants, contracts, and programmatic support. More than half of its research and training support is derived from Federal resources while programmatic support is obtained from New York State and income from testing fees.

The Research Office fosters the College's programs by identifying potential funding opportunities to support faculty research, providing guidance and recommendations relating to proposal preparation, serving as a repository of college guidelines and policies governing sponsored programs administration, and by providing tools and resources for faculty to achieve their research potential.

Questions relating to potential research collaborations should be directed to the College Research Office by calling 607-253-3755 or e-mailing vetmedres@cornell.edu.

The College of Veterinary Medicine also provides a Research Reference Service supported by The Flower-Sprecher Veterinary Library at vetref@cornell.edu.

The Office of Graduate Education supports all activities connected with graduate studies within the College. It manages the many different programs offered to those seeking the advanced degree, administers the Admissions process, and provides a strong infrastructure to support graduate students and faculty in the College.
