Cornell Summer Research and Leadership Program
Background: I was born in 1982 in Sydney, Australia, and grew up near the beach. I finished high school in 2000, and completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2003. This degree, combined with a number of years work experience in the veterinary industry, led me into the Veterinary Science degree which I hope to finish at the end of this year. Interests: I have been very lucky to have been able to travel quite extensively in university holidays. While travelling I have developed interests in skiing and snowboarding, wakeboarding and scuba-diving. I play guitar in the small amount of spare time I find for myself, which means I'm not very good at all. Career Goal: I would love the opportunity to further my knowledge in medicine and critical care, and eventually specialise in small animal medicine. I would also like to complete a post graduate research qualification to develop my research skills. |
