Background:
I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry and Business Administration. I am currently at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a focus area in Zoological Medicine.
Interests:
I enjoy traveling, cooking and baking, photography, and running with my Chihuahua, Sookie.
Career Goals:
My veterinary interests are in zoological medicine, specifically international wildlife conservation. After veterinary school, I intend on completing a small animal internship and dual zoological residency/PhD with the intention of pursuing an academic career.
