Born in Mainz, the capital city of Rhineland-Palatinate, I spent my childhood in the beautiful Taunus. Until the age of five, I lived in Niedernhausen, a quite big village near Wiesbaden. Afterwards, we moved to Idstein, a little city, where I grew up. 1999-2008, I attended high school in Wiesbaden and after graduating, I began my studies of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. Last year, I got married with my long-standing boyfriend, which means a lot to me.
In my free time, I love playing the violin, especially with other instrumentalists (chamber music or orchestra). Alternatively, I go in for sports (playing basketball, jogging, swimming ...) or participate in activities with my friends or family (playing cards, go to the cinema ...).
Furthermore, I get involved with the Students’ Union Executive Committee since 2008 (board member since 2010) and the senate of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover since 2011, because I like to arrange events and to speak up for the students’ problems and needs.
I think of a future, in which I will work in basic research, focus on Nutrition Physiology or Neurophysiology, gladly as a professor, because I enjoy it very much to teach.
