I was born in 1987 in Burgsteinfurt, a small town in the beautiful Münsterland in Germany. Here I grew up, went to school and finally I graduated from high school in 2007. I started my veterinary training in Hannover in the same year.
Since I was a young girl, I liked horse riding and working on the horse farm in my home town. I cared for my own horse until I started studying in Hannover. In addition, I like to work with children so I have managed a gymnastic group for girls for three years. Of course, I also like to spend time with family and friends. Because my father is a diving instructor he taught me how to dive when I was a child, and even though I do not have so much time to do it, diving nevertheless is one of my favorites.
After receiving my veterinary degree, I plan to complete a doctoral dissertation. Then I can imagine to work in an academic department of a veterinary school as well. I just had got the chance to acquire experience in academia working in the department of physiology at the TiHo Hannover for the last three terms, where I have worked as an academic aide.
