Comparative Cancer Biology Training Program Retreat 2011
The bi-annual cancer biology retreats are intended to provide a forum for trainees and faculty trainers to present their ongoing cancer research, facilitate informal interactions between cancer researchers and promote new collaborations, and establish an interface between the proposed training program and faculty colleagues from other units at Cornell University, including Weill Cornell Medical College. These goals are accomplished through presentations by distinguished guest speakers, faculty trainers, and supported trainees and planning sessions focused on cancer biology activities at Cornell and collective grant applications, and career development and research issues specifically for trainees.
