Background: I grew up in the Somerset, Southwest England. After taking a gap year travelling in South America, India, Nepal and the Middle East, I started the Vet School at University of Bristol in 2001. I have just finished an intercalated BSc in Veterinary Pathogenesis, and rejoin the Vet course in September, to graduate in 2007. My main areas of interest are in reproductive biology and immunology. Interests: Travel, photography, trekking, - anything that involves being outdoors and active! I also enjoy cooking and reading to unwind. Im currently trying to learn German too. Career Goal: I intend to pursue a career that combines research with large animal clinical practice, preferably in reproductive medicine or immunology (or both!). I would like to do a residency after graduating, probably followed by a PhD. Im hoping the leadership plan will help me with career planning! |
