Cornell Veterinary Medicine

Emily Orchard-Mills
University of Sydney

Background: I am in the last year of my Veterinary Science degree at Sydney University and am looking forward to graduating in December. I spent a year living at the University Teaching Hospital as an after-hours nurse and am enjoying getting more practical and clinical experience in private practice this year. I grew up in Sydney but I'm eager to continue traveling both in Australia and overseas.

Interests: In the past I've sung in an opera, recently I studied kickboxing and at the moment I spend most of my spare time relaxing with friends and my two dogs. At the end of this year I would love to walk the Overland Track in Tasmania.

Career Goal: I'm interested in small animal behaviour, anaesthesia and medicine and would love to be involved in clinical research one of these areas.
