Elizabeth Slack
The University of Edinburgh
Background: I was born and raised in Scotland, and have been a veterinary student at the University of Edinburgh since 2004. I have an intercalated degree in Veterinary Pathology from the Royal Veterinary College, London, and have also undertaken research at the Institute for Animal Health in Berkshrie.
Interests: Lizzie enjoys classical and jazz music, playing both flute and saxophone. She has recently rekindled her childhood interest in ballet and takes weekly lessons. Lizzie is also having some success in teaching her cockatiel, Pippin, to talk.
Career Goal: While wishing to experience clinical practice to some degree, Lizzie is considering taking further training in pathology. She would ultimately like to work in industry.
