• Hold a baccalaureate degree granted by a faculty or university of recognized standing or have completed studies equivalent to those required for a baccalaureate degree at Cornell.
• Have adequate preparation for graduate study in your field.
• Be fluent in English.
• Demonstrate evidence or promise of success in advanced study and research.

All applicants should submit:

• Completed application with Statement of Purpose (paper applications should be submitted directly to the Field of Pharmacology using the address below).
• Official scores from the Graduate Record Examinations General Test -- The applicant should request that ETS send official scores to Cornell University Graduate School, university code 2098 (if a department code is requested, please use 0216).
• oreign applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of competency in English by submitting a TOEFL score of at least 213 (computer-based) or 550 (paper-based). Official scores should be sent from ETS to Cornell University Graduate School, university code 2098 (if a department code is requested, please use 30).
• Official transcripts from all previous universities and colleges attended. These records may be sent directly to the Field at the address below.
  Class rank is also a helpful measure of academic performance.
• Three (3) letters of recommendation.
