Tours of the new Animal Health Diagnostic Center

(sign up for a tour when you register-children must be accompanied by an adult)
Tour the New York State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory facility, the newest addition to the College campus.
Part of the overall Animal Health Diagnostic Center, the lab provides critical regulatory testing and surveillance services needed to protect animal and human health, safeguard the food supply and support one of the major pillars of the state's economy: animal agriculture.

Olin Lecture - University Event

DVM Barbecue2011
5:30 p.m., Weill Hall - Courtyard (one of the nation's premier life sciences facility)
Join over 300 DVM Reunion alumni and College faculty for this traditional reunion event. The BBQ will be
held in the tent at the courtyard behind Weill Hall (off of Tower Road, opposite the Ag. Quad). Shuttle
service between Schurman and Weill will be offered.

Cornell University Chorus and Glee Club Concert
9:15 p.m., Bailey Hall

Tours depart every 15 minutes. Meet in the Atrium, Veterinary Education Center 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Pick up box lunch(es) in the Hagan Room, Schurman Hall
Box lunch includes chips, apple, cookie, drink, and wrap/sandwich of your choice: Turkey Club with Bacon Wrap, Roast Beef & Cheddar Wrap, Greek Salad Wrap, or Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jelly on white bread.

We have reserved this space for all DVM alumni and their guests. 
Bring your box lunch or bring your own food.  Some sports equipment and play equipment/games for kids will be available.  Directions to the park will be included in your registration packet (or click here).


A Global Concern: Wildlife Conservation, Economic Sustainability, and Public Health in Africa

Join Cornell professors Alex Travis (Veterinary Medicine), Jon Conrad (Agriculture & Life Sciences), and Rebecca Stoltzfus (Human Ecology) in this discussion on conservation and sustainability in Africa.  Hear first hand experiences and learn about the intersection of poverty, hunger, and biodiversity conservation, in particular, the intersection of development and conservation needs. (No registration necessary)

ru 2012Child Care and Youth Program

The University will again offer Child Care and a Youth Program for children during Reunion Weekend. You must register by May 25, 2012. Helen Newman Hall serves as the Program Headquarters. 
Child Care - Children ages 12 weeks to 10 years may be enrolled in the Ithaca Community
                    Childcare Center's program on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Youth Program - Cost is $65 per child per day for children ages 6-15.
