Committee on Promotion, Tenure and Mentoring


The committee's charge is to:

  • Assist with preparation of the dossiers for advancement of tenure/specialty track faculty
  • Assist with reappointments and sabbatical/professional leave
  • Serve as initial mentorship committee for all junior faculty
  • Establish mentorship committee for each junior faculty member (within 6 months)
  • Develop strategic plan for mentorship of junior faculty
  • Oversee mentoring committees and request feedback on faculty performance for annual performance evaluation from mentoring committees, section chiefs, medical directors
  • Assist faculty with CV's and candidate statements for reappointments and promotions
