Committee on Promotion, Tenure and Mentoring
The committee's charge is to:
- Assist with preparation of the dossiers for advancement of tenure/specialty track faculty
- Assist with reappointments and sabbatical/professional leave
- Serve as initial mentorship committee for all junior faculty
- Establish mentorship committee for each junior faculty member (within 6 months)
- Develop strategic plan for mentorship of junior faculty
- Oversee mentoring committees and request feedback on faculty performance for annual performance evaluation from mentoring committees, section chiefs, medical directors
- Assist faculty with CV's and candidate statements for reappointments and promotions
