Dr. Jon Cheetham, Research Scientist and Equine Surgeon at Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine and his laboratory team form the Preclinical Upper Airway Lab, which focuses on restoring function in the larynx, nasopharynx and trachea using tissue engineering, reinnervation and functional electrical stimulation techniques.  The lab's research is applied to both human and veterinary patients. Jon is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and holds a PhD in comparative respiratory physiology and surgery.
