Small Animal Internal Medicine

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Position

The Department of Clinical Sciences of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University invites applications for a renewable faculty appointment at the lecturer/senior lecturer level in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree and should be board certified or board-eligible by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - Companion Animals. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong interest in teaching in a clinical practice in an academic setting.

Responsibilities will be determined in accordance with service needs, and academic priorities. Distribution of effort will be approximately 60-65% clinical service in the Cornell University Hospital for Animals, 15% didactic instruction of veterinary students, interns and residents, and 15-20% clinical or collaborative research.

Title and salary will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience.
