A variety of training on safety issues and related topics is available for Vet College personnel.
EH&S Training and Safetybase
Cornell Environmental Health & Safety offers training courses on a broad range of safety and related subjects. The catalog of EH&S training courses, is available on-line.
. Training records for all EH&S courses, as well as some courses offered by others, are maintained on Safetybase, an on-line recordkeeping tool developed by EH&S. To view your training history or sign up for a course, go to http://dataworks.fcs.cornell.edu/sb.
A Training Guide is available to help you determine the types of training you need.
NOTE: In the event of a regulatory inspection, Cornell will use the information recorded in Safetybase as (partial - keep a copy of any training certificates you receive) proof of compliance with training requirements - it is very important that you review your training history periodically to ensure the information therein is accurate.
