Reporting Accidents, Injuries, Exposures

If you are involved in an accident or are injured as part of your work or study at the Veterinary College,

1. Call 911 from a campus phone or 255-1111 from a cellular phone if you need emergency medical attention.
2. After any emergency needs are addressed, be sure to have your supervisor file a Cornell University Accident Form
   If you have or may have been exposed to a human pathogen as part of your work or study at the Veterinary College, follow Steps 1. and 2. above, and then contact the College Biosafety Officer by calling the Dean's Office at 253-3773 to report the exposure.
   If you identify a potential exposure of others (e.g., by performing lab tests that identify a human pathogen in a sample from a CUHA patient), contact the College Biosafety Officer by calling the Dean's Office at 253-3773 to report the exposure.
