Dear CVM Faculty Members:
We are now almost halfway through the College’s Strategic Planning Process. The effort has involved numerous faculty, staff, and students, as well as external stakeholders, alumni, and friends, and I am most grateful for the effort that these individuals have made. The four academic planning committees have identified specific goals and recommended enabling strategies for the clinical, education, research, and diagnostic mission areas of the College. Several weeks ago I sent you an email regarding our College-wide strategic planning initiative. I am pleased to report that we have now finalized our four committee rosters, which are attached. Dear Members of the CVM Community:
In last month's State of the College address, I announced my intention to engage in a College-wide strategic planning process. While the CVM has maintained a strong leadership position in veterinary medicine, we are also a large and complex organization, operating in a rapidly changing environment. Comprehensive strategic planning, which we have not conducted in over a decade, will help us seize emerging opportunities and evaluate risks. Full Text
