Pet First Aid Day
Have you ever wanted to learn what you should keep in a first aid kit for your pet?
Have you ever wondered if your pet is having an emergency, or if it can wait until morning?
What are some common pet emergencies, and how can we avoid them?
If so, these questions and other questions will be answered at the first annual Pet First Aid day at Cornell University! Come on Saturday April 19th and join us for a day of pet emergency training!
Events will be held in Lecture Hall I (by the Tower Rd entrance) from 10am until 3pm, with a short break midway for complimentary lunch. All of the Ithaca Community is invited to come and learn about how best to avoid and react to small animal emergency situations.
The Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society has planned an amazing day of presentations given by CUHA Emergency and Critical Care Clinicians, Residents and Students.
Seats and lunch are first-come, first-serve. Topics are suitable for most mature age groups, although children are strongly encouraged(!) to bring adult chaperones for supervision.
Inquiries should be directed either to Katie Johnson (kjj24@cornell.edu) or Jess Dowling (jed32@cornell.edu).
We hope to see you there!
