19th Annual Fred Scott Feline Symposium
July 27-29, 2007
Welcome
Continuing in the tradition of providing the most up-to-date and relevant information on a broad array of feline health issues, this year's 19th Annual Fred Scott Feline Symposium draws on the knowledge of internationally recognized experts in feline medicine. Speakers from Cornell University, Auburn University, The Ohio State University, and The University of Sydney in Australia will provide in-depth learning opportunities in feline cardiology, renal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, heartworm-associated respiratory disease, hepatic amyloidosis, mycobacterial disease, and other timely topics.
The conference will be held in the Veterinary Education Center on the Cornell University Ithaca campus, and is presented in cooperation with the Cornell Feline Health Center, Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, and several corporate sponsors. Participants who complete the course will receive 17 hours of continuing education credit.
James R. Richards, DVM
Director, Cornell Feline Health Center
Note from Dr. F. Scott
This program was organized by Dr. Jim Richards, who passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2007, as a result of a motorcycle accident. As a tribute to Dr. Richards, the symposium program will continue as he intended, and is dedicated to him. There will be a time during the program for individuals to share with others how much Jim meant to all of us.
Fred W. Scott, DVM, PhD
Former Director, Cornell Feline Health Center
