URGINEA MARATIMA L, SQUILL, POISONING IN RUMINANTS
 
Description    URGINEA MARATIMA L (Squill) is a member of the plant family Lillaceae that grows in North Africa. Ingestion of large quantities of the bulbs of the plant can cause toxicity. Digestive, cardiac and nervous syndromes have been reported.

Signs   Anorexia, Arrhythmia, Bloody stools, feces, hematochezia, Colic, Diarrhea, Dullness, Sudden death, Tachycardia, Weak pulse
