METHANOL TOXICITY IN DOGS AND CATS
 
Description    Methanol toxicity has been reported in dogs ingesting gas-line antifreeze preparations; other consumer products can also contain methanol.

Signs   Abnormal behavior, aggression, changing habits, Abnormal breath odor, Ataxia, Constant or increased vocalization, Dullness, Dysmetria, Excitement, Fever, Generalized weakness, Hyperesthesia, Hypothermia, Increased respiratory rate, Pain on external abdominal pressure, Seizures or syncope
