ORNITHOGALUM THYRSOIDES POISONING IN HORSES
 
Description    The cultivated flower ORNITHOGALUM THYRSOIDES (chinkerinchee or star of Bethlehem) is reported to be extremely toxic to horses in Africa, with death following ingestion of a few flower heads.
