IRON TOXICITY IN PIGLETS
 
Description    Parenteral iron occasionally is fatal to piglets, usually 3-12 hours after injection.
 
Species   Porcine
 
Signs   Ataxia, Coma, Diarrhea, Dullness, Dysmetria, Dyspnea, Increased respiratory rate, Paraparesis, Seizures or syncope, Sudden death, Trembling, Tremor
