METHYL ALCOHOL, METHANOL, TOXICITY IN CATTLE
 
Description    Methyl alcohol is an antifreeze used in the oil industry. Cattle near oil installations might gain access to storage areas where the chemical is kept or to areas contaminated by methanol such as puddles of water bled from wells.

Signs   Agalactia, Anorexia, Dullness, Inability to stand, Sudden death, Vomiting or regurgitation
