Expected 2014 Foals

Safari (2001 Grey Oldenburg Mare, Slibovitz x Garde Gloria, by Glorieux) x Lagoheidor
Safari is an imported mare with a very proven performance record. She won the American Eventing Champions in the Amateur Trainnig Level division in 2007.   We are very lucky to have her in our broodmare herd and are excited to see her first foal by the elite international jumping and dressage stallion "Lagoheidor".   His breeding is Landadel/Godehard/Furioso II. Many thanks to Sharon Hardy, owner of Lagoheidor, for donating this breeding to us!

Inga (1990 Bay KPWN Mare, Actueel x Carola, by Meridiaan) x Juventus
Inga is an imported mare with many offpsring, some of which that are winning at the top levels of their sport. Notably, her 2004 foal by Iroko who is owned and ridden by Heather Mason is being competed at the FEI levels. In 2012 the pair won the Intermediare I class at Dressage at Devon. Inga's 2013 colt by Juventus has an exceptional temperament, very bold and curious about people, as well as gaits that "wow" so we are looking forward to this full sibling in 2014.

Sun Sett (1999 Bay KWPN Mare, Lester x Jurella by Concorde) x Phin Phin
Sun Sett is an imported mare who is a maternal half sister to Denny Emerson's mares Beaulieu's Cool Concorde and Beaulieu's Cool Attitude.  She has had two foals previously, both of which were black with chrome, and we are thankful for the opportunity to breed her to the exceptional showjumping stallion
"Phin Phin".  Phin Phin is by the infamous Chin Chin and is out of an Abdullah mare.  His offspring are noted for their nobility, fine heads, and nice front ends when jumping.  This foal should have more than enough jumping talent.

Wrosen (2002 Chestnut Hanoverian Mare, Werbellin x Von Dame by Vienna Waltz) x Lagoheidor
A new addition to our broodmare herd, Wrosen is a proven producer and should produce a very nice foal by Lagoheidor.  Her sire Werbellin is of course by Weltmeyer, her damsire Vienna Waltz is by Wienerwald, and her great grandsire through her dam is Report who is by Ramiro Z.   Per Dr. Christmann from the Hanoverian Verband, Weinerwald was a most-asked-for producer of jumping horses in Hannover in the 1970's.  This is going to be an interesting cross with Lago given the jumping lines on Wrosen's damline and the predominantly dressage lines on the Weltmeyer side. Lanthan is on Werbellin's dam side and produced versatile type riding horses and Grande is also on the dam's side and has both dressage and jumping lines in his pedigree.  This Lago/Wrosen foal should be versatile and athletic. Many thanks to Sharon Hardy, owner of Lagoheidor, for donating this breeding to us!

Urielle (1997 Grey BWP Mare, Rolando x Blinzen, by Banter) x Lagoheidor

Amazing Grace Q (2003 Chestnut Hanoverian Mare, Anhaltiner E x Elite Mare Waverly by Weltbekannt) x Bliss MF (Balou du Rouet/Argentinus)
Amazing Grace Q, fondly known as "Abbey", is a large (17.1 hand) mare with much presence and beautiful movement. Her Pavarotti vd Helle colt from 2013 is stunning and we look forward to her 2014 foal by "Bliss MF". Bliss was reserve champion at his stallion testing and would have been champion would it not have been for an age deduction. He is 16.1 1/2 hands, a lovely bay sabino (plenty of chrome), and has exceptional movement and excellent conformation. Most importantly, he has the best brain! His dam is by Argentinus and has an exceptionally calm demeanor. He produces exceptional offspring that have his same personality, great movement, and extraordinary beauty. This cross should produce an athletic foal that would excel in hunters, jumpers, eventing, or even dressage. Many thanks to Maggie at Marabet Farm for donating this breeding to us!
