Educating. Healing. Advancing knowledge.

The Cornell University Hospital for Animals is one of the nation's premier veterinary teaching hospitals. Within our Companion Animal, Equine, and Farm Animal hospitals, our dedicated and talented staff of veterinarians and technicians educate the next generation of veterinarians. They heal everyday stories of lumps and bumps and once-in-a-lifetime medical emergencies that challenge conventional treatments.

Within our Hospitals, veterinarians-in-training learn to communicate with clients. They are our window to the world, greeting clients and their pets, collecting casees histories, and conducting initial examinations, all under the watchful and supportive eyes of veterinary faculty.

With our broad list of services offered and faculty experts from all disciplines, we serve the medical needs of all species, every day. Cornell offers the only 24-hour/365-day emergency veterinary services in a 200-mile radius supported by specialists, residents, and licensed veterinary technicians in specialties that range from surgery and internal medicine, to cardiology and dentistry.

This work depends, in large part, on private donations, and cannot continue without this support. You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to the Cornell University Hospital for Animals today.

Thoughts from those who know us best

"The knowledgeable faculty and staff [at the College of Veterinary Medicine] have dreams – wish lists created with the goal of helping more animals and improving their care. Our gifts will enable them to do their work better. And, their commitment to their work renews my faith in humanity.” ~ Janet Swanson, client and supporter

"One of the reasons I've been very comfortable supporting Cornell is because I know anything I do is going to be multiplied in terms of the return that I get on that investment because of the care they give to animals." ~ Patricia Cornwell, client and supporter
