Danielle Tarbert, a resident in zoological and wildlife medicine, grew up in Seattle, Washington. She attended UCLA where she received a degree in ecology, behavior and evolution, returning to Washington State University for veterinary school. She completed a small animal internship in Coral Springs, Florida followed by an internship in wildlife and exotic pet medicine here at Cornell. Dr. Tarbert currently divides her time between the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, the Janet L. Swanson Wildlife Health Center, and the Exotic Pet Service. She enjoys living in Ithaca with her husband and their large family of pugs, cats, and reptiles.
