Injection site sarcoma study
Inclusion criteria:
--Cat with histological confirmation of tumor type
--Measurable primary tumor or metastatic lesion
Purpose:
--Determine the response rate and toxicity of carboplatin treatment (dose based on GFR) in cats with injection site sarcomas
--It is hypothesized that individualized dosing of carboplatin based on kidney function will be effective and well tolerated
Benefit:
--Study pays for cost of GFR, two carboplatin treatments, and CBC monitoring after treatment
Cruciate Follow-up Study
Inclusion criteria:
--Any dog that has had any type of cruciate surgery at the CUHA more than 1 year prior
--Force plate analysis and radiographs
Purpose:
--Determine correlation between meniscal damage type and long-term OA formation
