Dr. McArt --
I just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You! Knowledge and experience make a good vet, but heart makes a great vet. So many in your field lose sight that each "patient" or "call" is a living, breathing, animal with feelings, most are a member of someone's family.
Jet is just that and more! She is one of my 7-year-old daughter's best friends! Samantha started taking lessons when on Jet at 4-years-old when she was someone else's horse. She has since become ours and she and Samantha have both bonded and grown over the last three years.
You were very personable and friendly with all three horses on both visits and when you called to "follow up" it truly showed that you cared. Jet, my mother, my daughter, and myself are truly grateful to have had you on call that day. Think of us and remember how important it is to keep your heart in your job.
Thanks again,
Ellen, Sheryl, and Samantha (Ginger, Chip, and Jet, too)
