Colin Young
I received my Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware. In 2006, I joined the doctoral program in the Department of Medical Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of Missouri. During my time at Missouri, within the laboratory of Dr. Paul Fadel, I was involved in numerous projects examining neural cardiovascular control in both healthy and clinical human populations. My doctoral dissertation research was focused on examining a role for insulin in the control of central sympathetic outflow. After successful completion of my dissertation work, I joined the Davisson Lab in Ithaca as a postdoctoral fellow in June 2010.
