The lab often provides transgenic mice and plasmids to the research community either as part of collaborative projects or as experimental reagents. The mice and plasmids provided are for teaching or not-for-profit research purposes only. If interested in requesting mice or plasmids, please contact Cornell Center for Technology Enterprise and Commercialization (CCTEC) at mta-cctec@cornell.edu with your specific request and you will be provided with the appropriate institutional material transfer agreement (MTA) and complete it according to the instructions listed below.
Instructions for Requesting Mice
- Obtain the PDFs for the appropriate material from CCTEC mta-cctec@cornell.edu. After filling out the MTA, printing two copies and obtaining necessary Institutional signatures, please mail to:
Kim Vaughan, MTA Assistant

- Please note that all shipping expenses will be born by the requestor. If handling or colony maintenance charges are relevant the investigator will be notified at the time of MTA approval.
- Please note that all breedings for tissue-restricted Cre recombination must be performed using the Cre recombinase allele carried by a male. Cre recombination is not smooth muscle restricted (or restricted to genotypic Cre offspring) if Cre is carried by the female. This concern only applies to the final recombination mating.
