Veterinary Library In-Library Policies
|
|
The following policies have been established out of consideration for those using the library and for the protection of the equipment and collections.
|
|
Cell Phones
Ringers should be off. Patrons should step outside the library to have phone conversations.
|
|
Beverages
Beverages in spill-proof containers are allowed in the library. These containers include travel mugs with lids, and sports and other bottles with spill-proof tops. Open soda cans or paper cups with plastic lids are not acceptable.

|
Food
Food is not allowed in the library. This is to protect the Library's collections, furnishings, and equipment from damage.
|
|
Quiet Study Areas
The downstairs area and the stacks on the second and third floors are designated as quiet study areas.
|
|
Pets
Cornell University prohibits
pets from university-controlled buildings, except for those animals that
are specifically exempted by this policy. In addition, while on
university-controlled property, animals must be attended and restrained
at all times.
