Veterinary Library In-Library Policies

The following policies have been established out of consideration for those using the library and for the protection of the equipment and collections.

Cell Phones
Ringers should be off. Patrons should step outside the library to have phone conversations.

Beverages
Beverages in spill-proof containers are allowed in the library. These containers include travel mugs with lids, and sports and other bottles with spill-proof tops. Open soda cans or paper cups with plastic lids are not acceptable.

Food
Food is not allowed in the library. This is to protect the Library's collections, furnishings, and equipment from damage.

Quiet Study Areas
The downstairs area and the stacks on the second and third floors are designated as quiet study areas.

Pets
Cornell University prohibits pets from university-controlled buildings, except for those animals that are specifically exempted by this policy. In addition, while on university-controlled property, animals must be attended and restrained at all times.
