The Flower-Sprecher Library is located on the second floor of the Veterinary Education Center in the College of Veterinary Medicine Complex at the eastern edge of campus off of Route 366.
Visitor parking is provided in the large parking lot between the College and Route 366 during the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
From 366:
- Turn onto Tower Road.
- At the stop sign at Campus Road, turn right.
- Turn right into the parking lot at the first opportunity.
- Guest metered parking is in the first row of the parking lot, on the right.
- Simply park, note the number of your space, then pay at the machine at the end of the row.
- Enter the building through the Veterinary Medical Center doors.
- Go down the long hall to the "T". Turn left.
- Turn right at the first opportunity.
- The hallway opens into an atrium area where you'll see doors to the library on the far wall to the left.
From Campus:
- Go east on Tower Road.
- As Tower road turns right, continue straight into the courtyard that is surrounded by the College of Veterinary Medicine Complex.
- Enter the building. Once in the atrium area, take the stairs on the left to the second floor. The Library entrance is on your left. (An elevator is available behind the stairs)

The Library has a large main floor that includes the Circulation Desk, reserve collection, online catalog computers, current journal issue display, Reference Desk, photocopy room, current journal stacks, reading room, audiovisual resources, Rare Book Room, and staff offices. There are two additional levels of stacks over the current journal stacks for call number books. Compact shelving for older journals is located one floor below the Circulation Desk, public access computers, and current issue display area.
An elevator is available for access to the compact shelving level. Ask at the Circulation Desk.
