Gilbert Appointed Associate Dean for Clinical Programs
Dean Michael Kotlikoff is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Robert O. Gilbert as Associate Dean for Clinical Programs effective July 1, 2007. In this capacity, Professor Gilbert will provide oversight of the activities of the Cornell University Hospital for Animals, the Animal Health Diagnostic Center and the care of animals used in College teaching and research programs provided by Laboratory Animal Services. This change returns Rob to areas of College activity he knows well and enjoys. It is also intended to allow him to devote more time to his own professional and scientific interests in reproductive medicine. He looks forward to strengthening and renewing his contacts with faculty and staff in the professional service areas of the College. I would like to thank Rob for his tremendous contributions to the College as Senior Associate Dean and look forward to working together with him to insure that Cornell's superb clinical programs remain the most innovative and influential in Veterinary Medicine.
