CPS Breakfast
Each year Dr. Hornbuckle and his CPS technicians organize a breakfast to honor the graduating class. Tables are heaped with great food and lots of people participated. Here are a few photos from that event.

Class Picnic
The NYS Veterinary Medical Society sponsored a picnic for the fourth year class at the Cornell Recreation Connection facilities on Hanshaw Road on Saturday.

Honor Day Award Ceremony
On Thursday evening, May 22 the annual award dinner was held at the Statler Hotel, Carrier Ballroom. Here are the awards and recipients and few photos from the evening.

The Hooding Ceremony
The Hooding was held at Bailey Hall on Saturday, May 24 at 2 pm. Candidates for the degree, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and CUHA interns and residents completing programs assemble with parents, friends, spouses, partners, colleagues, faculty and guests. Dean Kotlikoff addressed the assembly and placed the hood representing the DVM degree on each candidate. Here is his address to the assembly. The Veterinary Oath was administered by Dr. David Hancock, President of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society. Dr. Dan Fletcher (Norden Distinguished Teacher Award - 2008) delivered the traditional "charge to the class". Professors Fubini and Gilbert recognized the interns and residents who have completed programs in the Hospital. Here are some of those pictures.

Vet College Reception
The Class of 2008 reassembles at the College courtyard for a reception and finally ... get their diplomas. It was a great day for all!
