Cornell Summer Research and Leadership Program
Background: I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. My passion for veterinary science was aroused while working with a country vet. Inspired from the experience I enrolled into Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney at the end of high school. Early in 2006 I went to South Africa and completed an ecosystem management course sponsored by the University of Pretoria. I am currently in my final year of Veterinary Science and am looking forward to graduating in December. Interests: I love spending time outdoors, be it hiking in the mountains or swimming at the beach. I really enjoy discovering new activities, recently attempting trapeze. I'm a music enthusiast and like both going to live music and playing the piano and the guitar in my free time. Career Goal: With so many exciting possibilities available, I am keen to do everything and undecided about the specifics! At this stage I ultimately see myself becoming involved in the research and application of new technologies for herd health management. |
