Cornell Summer Research and Leadership Program
Background: I was born in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. From an early age, I raised many kinds of animals including dogs, cats, goats, ducks, chickens, turtles and birds. I have volunteered in several places such like an orphanage, organizations for the blind and for foreigners on the campus of my university. My laboratory training was in a cancer research center. Interests: I love salsa dancing expressing what I feel energetically. I also like all indoor sports including badminton play, bowling games, and swimming; for the outdoors, it's snowboarding. Career Goal: I want to be a scientist in Immunology not just for the knowledge but for the people who need help in that area. As a leader in a science field I want to work for an international organization that is addressing the needs of people with immune diseases and cancer. |
