Amy Fulton

Cornell University
Class of 2009

Background: Born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in Phoenixville, Pennyslvania, I grew up in the main line suburbs of Philadelphia. I went to Cornell University for my Undergraduate degree in Biology, with a concentration in animal physiology. Ithaca was such a wonderful place to study I stayed here for my Veterinary education as well, and am now in the second year of my studies. I enjoy Ithaca's natural beauty and getting outdoors as much as possible, especially when the weather is nice. I've spent time in several different labs getting a taste of laboratory work, and am looking forward to this summer to explore my experimental interests more fully.

Interests: I have broad interests, including feline medicine, physiology and infectious diseases, and am looking forward to continuing my work in the field of virology this summer. I'm excited to be a part of such a breakthrough area of medicine.

Career Goal: My main goal is to include my love of science and experimentation with my love for clinical practice and working with patients and owners. The details of how I will accomplish this are still in the development stages.
