Our CVM Community

The mission of the College of Veterinary Medicine Office of Graduate Education is to foster and promote a collaborative and supportive environment in which graduate students and faculty can pursue training and research that are vital to their success and, ultimately, to the success of our global community. As such, the Office of Graduate Education (OGE), like our CVM community, is dedicated to research and training of biological and biomedical research scientists, whatever their career path may be. We do this by providing information about graduate education across the University and through supportive services for our College's graduate students and faculty.

Our students are members of a graduate community that is as dynamic and diverse as the research underway here; this community is home to a wide range of people who have varying roles. For instance, graduate students become postdoctoral associates and faculty; DVM students participate in research opportunities offered at the College and may choose to continue their education with a post-graduate degree; likewise, postdoctoral associates and residents pursue graduate degrees and research training at the College.
