Dual DVM/PhD Program: Oversight Committee An elected faculty committee is charged with oversight responsibilities for the DVM/PhD program. Each academic department in the college elects a tenured faculty member for a three-year term, with an option of only one renewal. Committee members also belong to at least one of the graduate fields that participate in the DVM/PhD program. The Oversight Committee's responsibilities include: applicant screening, annual review of enrolled students, administrative management, and program growth/development.
