Why Cornell? Welcome Prospective Students, As you are beginning to explore your options for graduate study, I would encourage you to seriously consider applying to Cornell University. Cornell's graduate program is exciting and unique, emphasizing flexibility and independence and permitting an unusual degree of accommodation to the needs and research interests of each student. You will find the faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine to be excellent researchers, well respected in their field of study and committed, both philosophically and financially, to supporting graduate student education. The campus, acknowledged as one of the most beautiful in the world, overlooks Cayuga Lake and the city of Ithaca, a small but cosmopolitan urban center. The final and most important reason to consider graduate study at the College of Veterinary Medicine is the graduate students themselves.
