Graduate Field of Pharmacology

Our graduate program offers an intensive course of study and research emphasizing cellular and molecular pharmacology. Outstanding college graduates are accepted as well as physicians and veterinarians seeking advanced training in pharmacology. The program prepares each student for a productive career in biomedical research and teaching. Upon completion of the curriculum, students graduate with a Doctor of Philosophy degree.

The Graduate Field of Pharmacology is one of several graduate fields that make up the Graduate Program in Biological and Biomedical Sciences of Cornell University. More information on this umbrella program can be found at the Biological and Biomedical Sciences website.

Application deadline is December 15 for admission in the fall semester of the following year.

Potential applicants are encouraged to discuss possible courses of study with individual faculty members whose research interests most closely match those of the applicant.
