Important Dates to Remember for Prospective Students

February 1
  • File the FAFSA by this date to ensure receipt of SAR in time for consideration for 5% loans (Perkins and Health Professions Student Loans)
  • Register for and file the CSS PROFILE Application to ensure receipt and review in time for consideration College Scholarship awards.
February 15
  • Submit two copies of Student Statement of Personal Interests (if applying for college gift aid) to College Financial Aid Office.
  • Submit signed and dated photocopies of all required federal tax returns, including W2's and supplemental schedules (if used) to College Financial Aid Office
March 1
  • File should be ready for review.
April 15
  • Check with College Financial Aid Office if no financial aid offer has been received.
May 1
  • New York residents should have TAP application in mail to NYSHESC - even if no TAP was awarded for undergraduate study. (Applications automatically sent by NYSHECS to NYS residents attending a NYS institution according the FAFSA information) (School Code = 5665)
June 1
  • All documents required for file completion and aid disbursement due in College Financial Aid Office (except IRS Form Letter 1722 (tax transcript)and required sibling/spouse/parent enrollment certifications).
August 15
  • IRS Form Letter 1722 (tax transcript) due.
October 10
  • Certifications of enrollment of sibling/spouse/parent due.

NOTE:
College grant and scholarship offers will be canceled (and reallocated) if required enrollment certifications are not received by the stated deadlines.
