Goat Rabies Vaccine Project

How Goat Owners Can Help

Testing a vaccine is an expensive project. We raised approximately $75,000 to support the initial study. Contributions from private individuals and groups helped pay for the care of the goats, and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets was also very generous with supporting funds. We hope that we will soon be able to make arrangements to begin another vaccine study, this time resulting in licensure for goats.

Thank you for your concern! Goat lovers are invited to make a gift to help support the next round of tests for a goat rabies vaccine. We are happy to accept small as well as large donations. All help will be much appreciated and the funds collected will be deposited in a dedicated account, awaiting the commencement of the second trial.

Please send a check or money order payable to: Goats Rabies Study

Gifts to the Goat Rabies study are tax-deductible.
