How Goat Owners Can Help Testing a vaccine is an expensive project. We raised approximately $75,000 to support the initial study. Contributions from private individuals and groups helped pay for the care of the goats, and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets was also very generous with supporting funds. We hope that we will soon be able to make arrangements to begin another vaccine study, this time resulting in licensure for goats. Thank you for your concern!
