Title: Farm Worker Safety Training: Bridging the Gap Across New York State's Diverse Agriculture

PROJECT GOALS: To reduce the potential for injuries/illnesses to workers on dairy, fruit/vegetable and cash grain farms that are related to: chemical handling; electrical hazards; transporting farm equipment and crops on public roadways; manual labor tasks, skid steer loader operation; and spread of infectious diseases between animals/humans. OBJECTIVES: to provide hands-on training to workers to improve safe work practices when performing daily tasks.
