Title: Identification of The Mutation Causing Collie PRA

PRA in Collies is an autosomal recessive genetic trait, that has now been mapped to a 2 megabase region on canine chromosome 7. In this project, a combination of fine mapping of the candidate region, to reduce it even further, and positional candidate evaluation by sequencing is proposed, which will lead to development of a gene mutation based test for this disease.
