Mr. Darcy gets new hips from the Cornell University Hospital for Animals
Mr. Darcy, a nine-month-old golden retriever, came to the Cornell University Hospital for Animals with a birth defect in his hips - both sockets were dislocated. To prevent long-term disability, Dr. Selena Tinga, assistant professor in the Section of Small Animal Surgery, and Mr. Darcy's veterinary care team at Cornell performed hip replacement surgery, aided by 3D-printed models generated from advanced CT scans.
