An upcoming veterinary clinic organized by Cornell and the Humane Society of Wayne County will provide active-duty military, veterans, and first responders with free care for their dogs and cats, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, microchips, deworming, basic skin and ear treatments, wellness checks and other preventative services as needed.

This Cornell clinic is one in a series intended to increase access to veterinary care among underserved communities, made possible by the Maddie’s® Shelter and Community Medicine Program, whose faculty and students are providing the veterinary care, as well as financial support from the Hero Companion Care Fund.
