Tiny Tim Beat the Odds

Tiny Tim the cat in a nebulizing chamber with an IV in his paw

Tiny Tim arrived at our local shelter when he was just a few weeks old. Rescued from a local cat colony with ten other kittens, Tim was one of the most fragile. He was thin, lethargic, and quickly developed symptoms of serious illness. But Tim wasn’t ready to give up – and neither were we.

We gave Tiny Time immediate medical attention and placed him in foster care for round-the-clock support. Despite our best efforts, his upper respiratory infection progressed, and he developed signs of pneumonia. He needed intensive care, including an IV catheter and nebulization treatments, to help him breathe.

Through it all, our dedicated medical team worked tirelessly, running diagnostics, adjusting treatments, and providing daily care, never giving up on Tim. And Tim didn’t give up either.

With time, expert care, and plenty of love, Tiny Tim began to grow stronger. Though he remained small for his age and struggled to gain weight, he returned to his foster home, while continuing to receive monitoring and support.

By December, Tim was no longer so tiny. He had blossomed into a healthy, spirited kitten. With his charming personality and adorable looks, it didn’t take long for him to find a forever home.

Thanks to supporters like you, Tiny Tim’s journey from sickly and struggling to strong and adopted is a powerful reminder of what your support makes possible.

Every donation helps us provide lifesaving care for vulnerable animals like Tim and gives them the second chance they deserve.

Because of you, Tiny Tim survived. And because of you, the next kitten in crisis will, too.
