Profile
Research/Clinical Interests
My research focused on udder health, metabolic and reproductive disorders, and heat stress in dairy cows. It took me a long time to realize that it is not just about cows, equipment, and the environment. Often it is us. The managers, employees and vets are part of the problem. Therefore, I shifted my research interests to human resource development. Simply because human behavior in the milking parlor affects performance, animal health and wellbeing and thus sustainability of the whole farm. Let us embark on a fascinating research journey together.
